Bangkok - Chaleena Hotel

History
Built by King Rama V. for military purposes, Saen Saeb Canal was soon turned to commercial use by the local population. The inhabitants along the canal live in simple houses and lead quiet lives, next to breathtaking temples and shrines.

Saen Saeb is the longest canal in Thailand and connects the Chao Phraya and the Bang Prakong rivers.

Take a trip in a longtail boat from out hotel to the Golden Mount along this historical canal. It gives you glimpse of the way people by the river live as well as a romantic interlude.
